This recipe was inspired by a photo, on the blog With Mountains Like These, of tapas in Leon, Spain, which gave me the idea of making garlic soup with paprika to give it a bit of extra flavour and colour (although not as much colour as the Leon soup).  I’ve no idea whether it tasted anything like the garlic soup in the picture, but for me it was an experiment which worked!  Thanks for the idea, Sollergirl!

  1. >Steve rather fancies this so we shall try it… but I'll have to buy some more garlic first! We're as sure as we can be that the reason we've had no colds this winter is because of all the garlic we eat now!

  2. >Jan: I'm sure garlic stops me from getting colds too! Hope you enjoy the soup.

  3. >Well I made the garlic soup when we had some friends round, and it was a great success… although I have to confess I added a vegetable stock cube and a couple of carrots!
